City outlines residential tree replanting project

The City of Joplin’s Parks and Recreation Department is introducing the first round of the City’s tree replacement program to help homeowners gain shade and natural beauty to their repaired or new homes. Demolition debris right-of-way pickup to begin

Residents traveling through the City should be alert in upcoming weeks as large hauling trucks will once again be moving throughout the City as residential clean-up of demolition debris continues. City participating in Recovery Round-Up

Residents still facing questions about their insurance, building, or financial issues following the May 22 tornado are invited to attend the Recovery Roundup on Saturday, September 24 to visit with representatives from these areas. Volunteers sought for Great Day of Service on September 25

Area residents are encouraged to volunteer for the upcoming Great Day of Service set for this Sunday, September 25. The event, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, is sponsored by Joplin area churches in cooperation with the City of Joplin.
