Caution: Natural gas service during cleanup and excavation

Homeowners, emergency personnel, and construction/demolition crews should use extreme caution when excavating or demolishing structures. Prior to demolition or use of construction equipment for cleanup, natural gas service should be shut off and natural gas risers should be capped and marked to avoid damage.
